Let's rank our backs....

They all look good. I think they're saving Martinez for the long haul. I've read other posters say that as well.
I hope they are at least.

1. Martinez
2. Fletcher
3. Allen
4. Lyle

I get everyone hyping Fletcher. Hes all Cane. Plays Hard. Can do a little bit of everything.Im a huge fan of his. However Im taking Martinez as my feature back all day twice on Sunday. I think everyone is going to see what hes all about very soon.

We have a great RB room-In our biggest games I expect Martinez to kick ***!

With Fletcher kicking *** as well-

That’s a great 1-2 punch for a KO!

I know the 2 backs I want to see more of us is cj jr and Allen.

Martinez #1 haven’t had to use him much but I want To see him run.

But like I mentioned Earlier I get Really excited when cj Johnson jr is on the field, haven’t had a back with that type of speed in a while

Ajay Allen has more juice as a pure runner than any of our backs.

His size, cutting ability, burst/acceleration is superior than the other backs.

I think his problem is he maybe the worst pass protector of the group. Last year vs. BC he had one of the worst pass blocking attempts from a RB ive seen.

When you have the 2 million dollar man behind Center, pass protection is a premium.

Before the season, I had Martinez as #1, then Fletcher, Lyle, CJ and AJ in that order, but given how well the backups have performed (albeit inferior competition) I will wait until after mid season to revisit this question. I just hope the coaches play the best, not play politics or favoritism. I think they will.

No insult to Martinez or Fletcher, but a compliment to the other RBs in the room who continue to develop and improve. Let your performance on the field determine your snaps
