Shhhhh, you’re not supposed to say that. He’s a MIAMI GUY, didn’t you know?
I know there's a contingent here that keeps pushing for him. I'm generally a positive person, but I'll happily feed on the "I told you so" schadenfreude if they are dumb enough to hire him.

I am not in favor of firing Diaz but if we do then I want us to hire someone with no Miami ties. I want someone that doesn't fit the culture. I want a good ole boy from a state like Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, West Virginia, or Oklahoma. I want a coach that chews tobacco and drinks Budweiser. I want a coach that leaves us for Alabama when Saban retires. I want a real ******* coach.

Who would actually want this job? Bad team in a C conference with a fan base that only goes for used car salesman with barely competitive money (for an elite coach).

What we could really use is a multi-billionaire who wants a toy to play with, and the toy being UM athletics (i.e. Boone Pickens/OSU). With all due respect to The Rock, Lemonis, procanes etc., in the grand scheme these guys are pikers.

We need a no nonsense type of coach to come in here and give the whole system top to bottom an atitude adjustment.get so tough on everyone so the ones who truly want it will stay and fight thru it.the pansies/prima donnas will leave.we have too many coaches and players with the wrong mentality.

We have a Boone Pickens and plenty of capable supplement money people.

They scored 17 points against Cal. And 21 against the worst Stanford team in a decade. They choked away the Auburn game. So....pass whatever you’re smoking over to me.

In fairness Stanford just shut down a hot U Dub team and Cal has been an overwhelming surprise this yr.

Lol at Urban Meyer having any interest in reviving this backwater banana republic football program. There is about as much chance he would come to this **** hole as he would go to Tulsa, Akron, or San Jose State. Meyer is a competent, elite, professional man, who when he decides to return will be able to name his salary and have 3-4 for major programs lining up for his servicing. No one of that stature would come to this dumpy university with a football program that has been wheezing for 12 years. The only people interested in this job, as has long been the case, are young up and comers who want to use it as a stepping stone. And even that is debatable now because it is doubtful you can win here any longer in today's college football landscape. But it doesnt matter, Manny will be here minimum another year or two, buckle in.
