I'm actually good with it. I'd be more concerned if he was absolutely killing it in the NFL. With him playing kind of middling, I have hope that Rosier can be at least as effective.

Eh that logic goes the other way too. "Rosier would be second string to a guy that's a subpar NFL player." I don't think we should try tying Kayaa's performance in the NFL to Rosier at all.

I feel kaaya is being graded unfairly. There are quite a few qbs that were drafted a lot higher than him that he has outperformed this preseason yet he receives all this criticism like he's trash or something from media.

Kaaya was supposed to beat out Stafford? C'mon mane. Get over it.

It was a mistake. He knows it, we know it.

100k signing bonus and PS money.

Sometimes (like now) many on CIS doesn't understand subtle messaging...Kaaya left early without a solid body of work and (if you look at my old posts) I was the first to post Malik Rosier's highlights in comparison to Kaaya. It's not really about Kaaya at Miami, but Kaaya the guy who left before he was ready.

This is the proverbial red flag, one to current players who, as a poster alluded to in a Yearby thread, keep hearing the whispers of POIs and people who want a cut of $$$ and haven't a clue about NFL talent levels. Indeed, Miami has a chance to be better with Rosier at the controls and in the future if current players realize they have to develop their bodies and talents in college. AQM and Grace had no choice and I wish them nothing but success, but current players need to look at the Kaaya'a and Yearby's and make an INFORMED choice given the EVIDENCE PRESENTED.

I don't get the impression that Richt made him feel he was really wanted back. So he left. Move on and root for the kid.

I'm in the camp that say the conversation between Brad and CMR went something like this.

Coach, I'm thinking about entering the draft.
Good luck Brad.
Conclusion? Lets just say the opposite of a full court press.

Having said the above it looks like Brad has made the Lions practice squad. That's a solid first step. If he works hard I see him as having a solid career as a backup at least. I don't understand the knuckleheads on this board that aren't pulling for his kid who was a solid player for during the worst of times.

The NFL U thing is a great recruiting tool, IF the the player is ready for an NFL roster, not a practice squad!

I'm sure Richt would have wanted him in camp, but unlike Fattaweenie Alfredo, he would have to compete for his job.

Heck, I'm pretty sure Kaaya would love to go on waivers and get picked up by the Chargers, Rams, or Raiders, since that suits his needs, not a teams.
