Last time we beat FSU.....in Miami.

Guys do u realize its almost 10 years since we beat FSU in Miami? Its almost unheard of and we have never beaten them in the crack pot stadium. I saw a article on a FSU site, I was like wow. They were making mad fun about it too. 2005 was the last time and the last of our 6 game win streak against them.

We have to absolutely end this.

So they have beaten us down here what, 4 or 5 times in a row? That sucks! But let's see, 3 wide rights, 2 wide lefts, one blocked two point conversion, 5NCs vs 3, yeap it still sucks a big one to be a Nole fan. One loss and all those nightmares will just come rushing back for those suckers. It remains great to be a Miami Hurricane. As Merc once said about the Pats vs Fins, "They are not even in our zip code!" Nothing that happens Saturday can erase the embarrassment of ALL those failures. They would need us to be great again and THEN steal a half dozen NCs from us just to get even.
 
Doesn't matter what we did in the past it's "what have you done for me lately"

And lately we haven't beaten them....let's reverse that trend this Saturday

But we've won one championship in 23 years. That's crazy.

They are headed to the playoffs and a shot at back to back titles and you are bringing up ancient history while Miami tries to catch Duke in the Coastal. Good work.

2004, not 2005 was the last win in Miami over them. 05 we lost to, wait for it, Drew Weatherford up in Tally. They did go from 1979-1989 without beating us in Tallahassee and they were much better then, than we are now.
 
Yup, realized that when I saw the meme of Petey pablo having a #1 song in country at time with Ciara... PETEY PABLO! He done did a bid AND got out since the last time we won at home! DAMMIT MANE
 
I love pointing out our 5 championships to their 3 when hole fans are talking crap but man most of those titles were in the 80s and early 90s. Our last title was almost 15 years ago. It's getting to the point where talking about our national titles is like Notre Dame talking about all it's championships. Those things are ancient history. The further out we go from those championships bringing them up almost becomes meaningless. Kids nowadays don't remember our championship back in 2000. Most of the kids in high school now were 2 or 3 years old back then. We need to do something meaningful in this era instead of always talking about ancient history that we older Canes fans remember.

But our coach speaks well. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.

2004 was the last win in Miami. We actually beat them twice in 2004.
