Last post this team reminds me of the 2017 Miami Hurricanes

The trajectory of this season has been very similar to that team. Win a ton of close games against bad teams but get smoked against the good teams with similar to better talent (Wisconsin and Clemson). The following season we played LSU and this next year we play Bama. Can history repeat itself?

I disagree. The 2017 team beat a solid ND team. We had obvious flaws, and they came back to bite us, but this current team has a play maker at QB and we still can't put most average teams away. AND we get mauled by any good team we face.

If we had King in 2017, we are a playoff team. If we had Rosier this year, we are a 3 win team. We are nowhere near as good overall as we were in 2017. We just have a better QB.

That ND team had 3 losses they were a good team but not a great team. Kelly Bryant is still running and throwing for Tds against our defense
