- First off this is not a "good loss" post, don't think there is such a thing. I'm not a golden slurper, I want him gone like yesterday and I think it will happen at the end of the year but that depends on how we finish the season.
- Our team played came to play. We played hard on and were not intimidated. Even when we were down we fought back and took the lead.
- We got a good one in Brad. 400+, 3 tds, no picks. He did this with no running game at all and a defense coming on every play to take his head off.
- We got receivers that can make plays. They may not be the best of the best but they can play. Coley really impressed me. Still not sure how he could disappear for a whole season and play like the best player on the field yesterday. Scott is just consistent and dependable.
- We have a couple playmakers on the defensive line. AQM and Thomas were unleashed. I think the way they were using them last night was key to us Being able to keep the game close. The staff will realize the have something and we can expect to see a lot more of it.
- We lost to a better team with better talent and a lot better coaching.
- The offensive line sucked last night.
- I predict we go 4-3 the rest of the way, 5-2 with some luck. Here is where things get dicey. If we go 5-2 we will win make the acc title game and that will make it tough to get rid of fat albert. Not for one second do I think we will tank. Most of the teams we play suck. Unlike before we have an experienced qb that can carry us to victories. When was the last time we had that. We are blessed with playing in on of the worst divisions if football which bodes well for us. We have some real talent at key positions so the future is bright.
