We all watched the Golden assistants struggle to find jobs after they were fired. Will be interesting to see where the guys end up that have been let go. Below is my order of value that they are on the open market. Do not expect Richt Jr. to have a job next year coaching football at the D1 level. Manny coming in and letting them all go was a power move and we will see as we did with Golden's staff how valued they will be on the open market.

Hartley
Dugans
Felder
Brown
Searles
Richt Jr.

Dugans has to really regret not taking the FSU gig last year, sort of feel bad, but it is a business and the right move.

Brown will probably end up in the sec. good coach and value as a rb coach. Maybe at South Carolina with Derrick McClendon his boy at uga being the oc.

Dugans FSU likely

Call me crazy but I think Hartley will end up back on Diaz's staff as TE coach only. His guys are really lobbying for him to come back. Plus, he has the sort of personality to walk into Diaz's office and ask for an interview with the new OC once he's announced.

Otherwise, I think Dugans and Brown will find good spots in mid-tier programs. Can't speak for Searles/Felder/RichtJr though.

I would imagine that Muschamp is on the clock.

I can see Hartley coming back .. The right move was to remove everyone .. clean the slate and if there's any one coach you want reach out individually.

All of them will land on their feet, except Jorn, who will take a HS or D3 job.

I think what went wrong with the offense is very simple. First, MR ran an outdated scheme. Second, he was highly predictable. Third, he lost control and under-managed the team and staff. As a result, everyone under performed. The blame lies squarely on MR.

I think Dugans and Brown are great position coaches. Their resume is solid. Both will get decent jobs. Hartley is an above average TE coach and outstanding recruiter. He should get a decent job.

Searles has a good reputation, but he under performed badly in the last few years. He will probably take a step back.

Felder will likely do okay, too. His performance was probably reflective of MR's lazy management.

Jorn is the only one that does not belong at the D1 level.

If we had a top OC and QB coach, I think the rest of the offensive staff (except Jorn) would have performed well / above average.

Dugans, Hartley & Brown should find good jobs
Richt Jr ends up back in GA coaching HS
Searles & Felder will pop up somewhere

I got to say I am curious about Dugans being let go. Seemed like an ace recruiter and a pretty good teacher. Though he did seem to have personality issues with players already on the team. I wonder if that did him in?
