While Kuligowski did a top notch job at Mizzou, the truth of the matter is that none of these Mizzou teams truly won anything. Division championships in both the Big 12 and the SEC are impressive. Bowl game wins can be impressive. But when the team had the most to play for, they did not come through with wins. That tells me that everyone should have been considered replaceable.
This paragraph is just bizarre.
So, the DL coach does a great job, but because you didn't win enough, you fire the guy who has done a great job. Brilliant.
Plus, by that logic, the same should apply to their new HC. Odom was DC their last year. He wasn't there for 2012-2014 (arguably includes 2 of their best seasons) and was there as a position coach/admin assistant before that.
