Go back to the VTech game and the fake FG instead of taking points. It may have cost them the game. Last night, after 2nd FG, if stuff goes off the rails, then another FG wins you the game possibly. I thought right call to take the easy points.

It was the play-by-play guy who is clueless. Same character who wanted Mario to back off & take a knee late in 4th quarter.
 
Tired of the analytics man. The analytics have basically decided that field goals are pointless. Yet you see so many games, especially in the pros, come down to a two or three point victory. The analytics also cannot tell how crappy the other offense is playing. Mario made the right call. Once again, Mario’s in game decisions were perfect this game. Especially keeping he foot on the gas, another thing those dopes were crying about.

They were awful and that was one of the more stupid things I've heard announcers say. Acting like we're the desperate underdogs on the road. They're idiots.

Correct. I guarantee you if the score was 20-10 or 24-14 and we were playing Clemson, he goes for it.

But fsu scored 7 points to that point on a busted QB sneak, essentially. They haven’t scored 21 points ALL SEASON. If you can get to 17, you get to 17 and take your chances in the 2nd half you’ll get a couple more scores. In reality, once we got up 2 scores, the game was over. Everyone on both sides of this knew that. The only chance fsu had was to get a lead early. They can’t score points. When you get down by 10+, the game is over.

Smart decision by Mario. Especially with them getting the ball out of the half. Go up 10, make them outscore you by multiple scores in the 2nd half. They can’t score on air.
 
We had a couple of fourth and shorts inside the FSU 30 in the second half that I would’ve liked to go for but kicking it was the right decision. Go up 20-7 and then 23-7 and make them score two TDs (they weren’t)
