Amen. Art mention something a couple years ago about the way Al uses linemen was not they way he was use to but Al is the boss. Art was so happy to be back he was not about to buck the system. I am betting that all the old Canes on the staff will have one wild *** party if Butch got hired.

I understand why some bosses do things that way. It's because when you succeed, you get all the credit. The problem is when you fail, there is no such thing as "WE". I think at this point he and his buddy know this, hence the testy attitudes to questions EVERY coach in the country has to answer on a regular. You think Beamer and Foster aren't tired of answering those questions the last 3-4years in Blacksburg? Those guys have a career record to fall back on.

These two will indeed coach some place else, but the question is where. The bar has been set so low with division winning to allow the admin and Blake to point to something, to say they won something, even if it's not the entire ACC. This is why they are pointing so desperately at the coastal, and why they are all of a sudden trying to not talk about the FSU game as a defining moment even though it always has been for decades.

After the Cincy loss, i'm numb. It would take them running the table the rest of the way to get me excited again.
 
Barrow had the balls to get out alive with the mom's ill excuse, only to take another job within 4months of being gone..

And there were tons of reports of him and D'onofrio butting heads. I'd welcome barrow back with open arms

Barrow doesn't strike my as a guy who would be looking at sheets of paper while the defense is looking for a call and the opposing offense is lining up ready to snap the ball.

lol @ Beard teaching kids to get seperation. The video from spring/summer were very telling..those kids looked like they had problems just getting off of their stances...lot of wasted movement. Add to it..our fastest wr more than likely runs a 4.5. Then you have a problem creating seperation

We saw the recruiting video in the offseason where Hurley and beard were questioning a recruits speed and explosion to play for miami and Dnofrio just laughed it up and kept asking Paul Williams to say how their best DBs were always slow types.No wonder most of out dbs and wrs run in the 4.7-4.8 range.Who ever the new head coach is will be in shock when he sees the lack of speed on this miami team.
 
They are professionals. They do the job they signed up to do. Not throwing in the towel when things get crappy.

God this country is in serious trouble.

Barrow was also fired from Special Teams....and see the great job the new special teams Coach is doing -- minus Corn Elder due to Berrios injury --
