Keionte Scott out?

Joe Rose asked about injuries this morning and specifically about Scott. As always, Mario had high praise for Scott but gave no info on any returns - CJ, Fletch, OJ, but did say Wes was on a 12 play count last week.

CJ I thought was week to week and with him not being on the report then a last minute add I think he may be close to returning. Coupled with Irvin apparently said CJ told him he expects to be back next week.

Fletch I think is TBD, especially with D$ comments about how he is hoping to get to see a full backfield with Fletch and Pringle as thunder and lightning, didnt seem to positive but for a later playoff run so I doubt we see him VT, maybe Pitt but sounds to be pushing it.

OJ no idea, didnt even see him on the sideline and havent heard about him. I think Wes and Moten may have been on snap counts, both didnt play a ton but looked fine out there.

Scott it seems everyone has been guessing between turf toe and ankle sprain, regardless people have been pretty consistent saying playoffs at best.

Scott will be playing
Similar to the scoop on Jojo, you whiffed, but hats off to you for admitting you're wrong.

This one feels like

maybe me just being naive, but don’t get how Keionte’s injury is so significant that he is done for the rest of the season….yet he is seen walking around (even celebrating) with the boot on the sidelines. You would think an injury that serious, he would be on crutches or not on his feet.

Naive is definitely the correct term here.

It really just depends on what the injury actually is

lol fair. Just generally curious. We’ve heard turf toe, which I think he would be wearing more of a closed toe footwear to limit movement, rather than the boot we’ve seen on the sidelines. Not sure he would also be moving as freely as he’s shown. I realize I’m not a doctor so I could be totally wrong here.

The other rumor is high ankle sprain which would align with the boot, but that doesn’t correlate with a significant/ serious injury that takes him out for the rest of the season…especially when playoffs are more than a month away.
