We praised Enos for going more to the gun and pistol the last few weeks that got the offense rolling... the prob is he got way to comfortable believing he could keep having success calling the exact same RPO’s over and over again that worked the last few weeks. Instead of developing the progression or tweak to other teams adapting he stayed the same... also Wiggins had a great couple of games, but 2 of those INT he had a role in.

My main gripe is that enos is so dedicated to his philosophy that he is slow to adjust and still focuses on trying to do it the way he wants vs being progressive in how to build on what works and being ready with the answers when teams like FIU clearly had figured out the RPO slant concept.

I think enos is a great QB coach but as a play caller he just is not there yet. My question is Can we find an OC willing to come here who can also develop the QB’s... I can’t imagine enos staying as qb coach and not OC..

Still have hope for manny, just hope he is still willing to make the coaching changes he needs to after hiring offensive coaches he basically gave free reign too.

I said this after the Florida game and it still stands true. If Manny keeps Enos he will be gone in 2-3 years. I already referenced Shannon not firing Patrick Nix immediately was the start of his down fall. It's FIU establish the run but instead Enos calls like 6 passes in a row even when runs were at about 8 a pop.

Let's say Enos is forced to change his offense then what? The play calling will still terrible and the core/scheme of what makes this offense so bad will still be in place. I mean look at the 1st goal line stand by FIU instead of running the wildcat with Dallas let's run a QB sprint instead. Our QB is throwing interceptions like crazy? Lets not run a single bubble screen while avoid running the ball like the plague.

Next if Manny doesn't switch to a modern 'ole spread offense with the next OC hire then it over. Also fire the Barry the OL coach as he is not only a terrible OL coach but a bad recruiter as well and he is buddies with Enos.

I'm a firm believe Manny Diaz fell for the "spread coast" buzz word when Enos was getting Manny to buy his offense. Lesson learned Make changes after the bowl season.

I’d say UCF coach Josh Huepel Matt Campbell would be good CandidateS but have no reason to leave... Manny has qualities that I think can serve Miami well in future but Really needs solid experience guy running progressive offenses

Enos is inept. Had no game plan last night. No new plays, wrinkles, anything. Completely underestimated FIU. Called the RPO slant all night which we now have on film 50 times and FIU exposed him. Literally outcoached and outsmarted by FIU. Predictable and terrible. Nowhere near the $1M+ he makes. I'll be generally surprised if Manny doesn't scapegoat fire him at end of year unless he has a multiple million dollar buyout himself (wont be surprised).

But Manny is the not the guy. OP still buying into his talk game, TNM and all that bull****. Completely in over his head. No idea how to prepare for games. Staff that belongs at FIU not UM. No leadership on the team. Average recruiter at best.

We're stuck with Manny for at least 1 more year so I'll hope he turns it around but if im honest, its a lost cause.

I say douche the whole thing. I'll add this though if Manny is not fired in the off season and if he can replace some of his staff, just maybe he can make it. This was the downfall for Golden and Richt.
One thing he has going for him is that he is a young first time head coach. He can grow and learn from this. I think we need to be patient and see what changes he makes. He could be the next Dabo 🤷🏿‍♂️

I’m looking at how manny can build hype around program but then have the OC abs DC who can deliver... it’s a formula that has worked in the past with a CEO mindset but I do agree the latest up and coming teams have a HC who is also a progressive OC.
