They pick top players at each position every week based on performance. They do overall teams and by conference. McIntosh made it for the ACC in week 1. KC made the overall team for week 2. This what they said about him.

"McDermott was a force in the running game as he created good movement at the point of attack while not surrendering a pressure on his 32 attempts".

Need him to be a force this season when we play some real competition. Dominant lines make football fun to watch. O line needs to get on the d lines level.

I thought this guy was going to be a tackle. Maybe the should switch him with Odogwu

That's encouraging. RJ McIntosh was on the list last week and now McDermott for this week. Good to have one of our offensive lineman being recognized playing well

Think he got injured then when he got here then didn't have feet for tackle.. He was supposed to be that guy when he recruited him but missed (as far as blindside tackle).. Good to see he has developed into a productive guard.. Now problem is that all we have,

bar Milo was also supposed to be that guy in another class, another guard once on campus

But our oline sucks according to everyone

It's not great but it's not horrible either.

Darling is going to be a big problem when he's facing elite speed rushers in ACC play. He's not quick enough. Should be at guard but we have no one who can play LT better than he can. McD looks much improved this year. Linder and Isidora are solid. Sonny has been good so far but I'm still not sold on him as anything more than an average starter. He'll also struggle with speed rushers.

Biggest answer to a pass rush is to run the football. If the line keeps moving people as they have been, we'll have an easier time on 3rd downs that aren't so predictable.
