I am not sure how to feel about this. Kansas signs Lance Leipold who was at Buffalo and now they are shopping groceries in Buffalo.

Sure, its unclear whether Kansas gets better getting these players, but for Buffalo, it certainly isnt good.

KU is so desperate. Proven G5 guys is better than what they have, but they aren't winning more than two games.....
 
Also says two obvious things. First, new coach wants some of "his guys" to establish the new culture. Second, new coach thinks those players are better than what Les Miles had in Lawrence.

Also remember that Leopold openly campaigned for the job. He was one of the few successful, in their prime coaches who really wanted to be at Kansas.
 
This will become the new norm. Group 5 programs will be poached more and more. I wonder if the NCAA will adjust IC's if it gets bad enough. It can really hurt a program when that many kids transfer out.
