Since nobody else has done it, props to Coley and Golden for finding Kaaya

Kaaya is a classic drop back QB:

- 3 games in, continues to make progress
- always finds correct read
- holds the ball at times, signs of inexperience, will learn to throw it away

Again we have or QB for the next 3 yrs. Against Nebraska le the kid play, they will blitz, lts see the gameplan

I would like to see him learn to run when he sees nothing..but not this year... Just throw it away

he is playing better but the o line isnt ----- kid is throwing off his back foot a lot, bc he has no choice

Definitely had a MAJOR improvement this week. Looked a lot better. I would say he finally put to rest the "arm strength" issues. When he sets his feet he can definitely fire hard and far. If he keeps developing like this, he's going to be a great one here. Now if only we can get a decent OL for the kid.

All the tools are there. Throwing off his back foot, holding the ball too long, taking extra unnecessary steps before throwing the ball - these are mechanics he'll correct as he gets more comfortable. Reads and accuracy which sometimes can't be corrected - he's shown a lot there.

Need to see it against legit competition, but the kid had a really good day going until they put him back in (stupid).

Getting better as the season progresses. That's all you can ask for out of a true freshman. He will be a good one. Curious to see how he does at Nebraska but my expectations are tempered, I'd advise others to do the same.
