HE SHOULD NOT BE 9 - 9.

Let's talk about Kayaa first 18 games. In my personal opinion, he has played well enough to have won more than 9 games.

1. How many victories were prevented by Golden/Dorito's Defense?

2. How many victories were the result of Golden/Dorito's Defense?

3. How many victories were prevented by Coley's Offense?

Thoughts?

again he is good not elite nor special

he had 3 tries against FSU to beat them the last two years,

ciny game

Bowl game

etc etc

again he is good best we have had in a while but not special
he is not a leader from what I can see....

great kid too.....

He's a true sophomore that needs help from his defense. Unfortunately, he has to beat the opposing team and his own D-Coordinator

QBs are judged by how well they do on third down and in the red zone. I don't have to say anything more do I?

He just threw for almost 400 against a top defense that was able to drop 8 into coverage and still get past his OLine. Yet we still have fans questioning him.

Kid is stuck under the worst staff in the country. His coordinator is a clown. His head coach is a passive tool that likes to hold on to leads.

That kid has no shot at reaching his full potential with this staff.

Golden makes coley appear as a clown because of how controlling he is on the defense. How can you coach correctly if you are being told to be less explosive and chew up clock to help the offense, what Miami needs to do is continue to speed up the offense and be more explosive. The offense has shown it is better that way by far

Jacory Harris threw for 386 against a much better FSU defense in 2009 and actually won the game.

The number of yards you throw for makes you great? How about leading a comeback win, winning a big game or something like that. I guess that doesn;t matter anymore. You are great because every says you are.

Under Kaaya's tenure, you can point to a number of games that ended in losses due to the defense IMO.
- 2014 and 2015 FSU
- 2014 Nebraska
- 2014 UVA
- 2014 Pitt

In contrast, I can really only think of two games, 2014 VaTech and Duke, that the defense was exceptional and was the main reason we were dominant in that game.

As for the offensive scheme... it played a major role in the losses like
- 2014 Louisville (way too conservative against a good team in a hostile environment, 13-31 L)
- 2014 UVA (13 points against them... really?)
- 2014 Bowl game (Play-calling was dull and vanilla...)

In two career starts against Florida State, Brad Kaaya is 45-of-83 for 721 yards, five touchdowns and one INT. His record is 0-2.

ACC Week 6 by the numbers: Clemson's D shines again - ACC Blog - ESPN

Stats don't necessarily tell the whole story, but let's be real: the kid is pulling his weight and then some v. F$U. Other guys need to step up and make plays, too. I'm not even going to get into the coaching part b/c we all know the deal...we've had our chances the past 2 years against them, coaching aside. If even a few more guys played as well as Kaaya I think we'd be sitting on a 2-game win streak against them.

What the **** is wrong with this fanbase? The guy is still developing he is better this year than last. The guy is being coached by a tight end coach. Coley never coached qbs at fsu.

Look at winston at fsu. He had good o-line, good running game, good recievers, and a top 5 defense.

Look who dorsey was playing with and compare it to kaaya. Name me 1 qb in college football that doesn't have a combination of good coaching, scheme, o-line, running game and recievers.

And there is no elite qbs in cfb right now. There is a lot of very good ones but none that you would say is a lock top 5 pick.

every QB we played so far....give Doroto time

Coley is doing a decent job considering he has no support on the staff.

Guy has no resume to speak of and is basically running the offense by himself.

UF has McElwain and Nussmeier.

FSU has Jimbo, Randy Sanders and Lawrence Dawsey.

Coley has nothing.

Get the picture?

Coley was the "QB Coach" at FSU.
