I'm trying to figure out what is worse, traveling to these games and getting our asses kicked like last year or blowing 4th quarter leads?
It is pathetic that on two weeks of practice that we come out and go in the hole 17-3, that is inexcusable.
The offensive line played much better and I'm happy the WR were set for the most part, but wow at Hightower. KJ, Harley, Thomas should be the WRs on the field as much as possible.
This is a gimmick defense sorry to say. If the defense isn't forcing turnovers it is pretty much toast. Defense gets gashed on so many plays. Jaquan and Redwine or deeply missed on this team.
Special Teams is horrific, it's sad to see it's been a problem for a while and Manny didn't hire a dedicated ST coach instead of keeping Banda around. Baxa clearly has talent, that first FG was money but he is too **** inconsistent to rely on.
At the end of the season if the defense doesn't improve I honestly want to know if Manny will make changes or go the way of Golden/Richt and keep his buddies. His first hire has to be a ST coach and get rid of someone on the staff.
Also not sure if you guys missed on TV but when Howel got sacked to make it 4th down, UNC called a TO and SENT OUT THE PUNT UNIT with no TOs. The refs then decided to "review" the Howel "fumble" after the review UNC sent out the offense.
On that lst note refs were horrible, 1 penalty on UNC? Really? Cam got screwed again on another big run
