Most of the time Golden goes after crappy recruits. I wonder why...maybe it is the inferiority complex

Anyone who didn't like Uche to begin with, obviously doesn't watch tape and looks immediately at stars.
13 sacks in 8A football down in Dade county. Plays aggressive, great first step off the line. Has range in his game too in coverage. Plays well in run support.
Is he a project? Yes, but a very good one. He's always been worth the take IMO.
I've always said he is one of the most underrated commits that we have.
6'2" 220, runs a legit electric 4.5 forty. Right now.
He is actually supposed to be class of 2017. He is a year ahead. His father and brother are 6'5" from what I heard. Uche is still growing.
Uche is still only 16 years old and the youngest in #SWAG16 . The two youngest in the class happen to have some of the highest ceilings. (Uche and Homer, both 16)
Can Uche play OLB.... yes, but he has a great frame to add more muscle and is still growing. By the time he's at Miami, he could be about 6'3"-6'4" range. I think his best position would be DE, perfect candidate for a redshirt and to blow up in the weight room in a college S&C program.
The main thing to work on with Uche is in the weight room. I don't think his strength is there yet but I see everything else you would want in a pass rusher.
Alabama offering is a big deal. I know they have been on him for a while but looks like Saban and staff saw something they like.
Need to hold on to him. I expect more offers to follow now.
