The Rivals Industry Ranking No. 8 OT is eyeing a decision later this spring — and multiple programs are beginning to distinguish themselves as contenders.

That group is headlined by Miami, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee.

“I would put those schools as my frontrunners right now,” Sam-Epelle told Rivals, adding he expects to have a decision made between late March and May.

The Hurricanes are full-throttle recruiting the Rivals300 prospect from Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County High School.
Mario Cristobal and Alex Mirabal have been straightforward and Sam-Epelle is giving them his full attention.

“I’ve always been close with Cristobal since early in my sophomore year. I’ve seen the development Alex Mirabal has done for Markel Bell,” he explained. “I went down there for the first time late last year and it was phenomenal visit. It just shows me what can be done with me — along with the development he’s doing to bring to Jackson Cantwell.”
