Josh Moore True Freshman Standout For Week 3

25 WR cycle looking a lot different in retrospective (at least from the public rankings perspective). Have heard that Moore would've been a high 5* had he not been injured and not camped. Most of us knew these guys were criminally underrated.

We definitely evaluated well last cycle. It's difficult to know about the big uglies on the OL. Have to trust Mirabal on those. But the WRs, TE, RB, DL and secondary have all impressed. I never liked the rankings. And last class shows they're seriously flawed. If we keep landing classes like that, we're playoff bound every year.

Really wanted Floyd Boucard and I knew we were somewhat on him base don conversation on CIS, because my guy is a French Canadian!
Surprised him an Nino wasn't able to pull him in, Italian French Canadian and Floyd would have been two peas in a pod over in Montréal!

Canada is slowly producing more and more players in football, massive influx of immigrants and American football is picking up steam and becoming more of a tradition, but mostly NFL.

It's cool to see our misses even do well, so the general evaluation is properly done and we're going after players who will play well no matter where they go. Gives you that confidence.

With previous coaches here our misses were trash everywhere else and our gets weren't that good here either.

Evaluation is more important than ranking by the recruiting "experts." Even in our best years, our classes rarely ranked in the top 5.

Of course I'd be quite happy with a bunch of 5 stars.
