Jojo Trader and Lofton are the key to beating A&M and a deep playoff run

Why do people feel the need to mention Cook and Yearby when discussing Jojo and Smith? Yearby rushed for 1000 yards in 2015 and was at least solid. Jojo had what 14 catches in 2 years.
Jojo didn’t even do enough here to be mention against Buck Ortega/Sean Taylor

Bucks’s dad was a big time Gator player in the early 70’s. I remember him because I knew one of his cousins who grew up on the Beach and my best friend growing up was a massive Gator fan because of his father and I remember watching a game with them where Ralph Ortega had an interception and they pointed out who his cousin is. Buck went to Gulliver with ST26 I believe

Yep Ralph was also a Miami Dolphin in the late 70’s. He came to talk to my HS team via FCA. Buck was the QB at Gulliver with Sean Taylor when they won the State Title. Not sure if they were the same year or not.

I believe we brought him in as a QB before he eventually transitioned to TE and standout special teams player. Loved him as he was willing to do anything to help the team win, a true Cane. Believe he ended playing a few seasons in the league.

The University of Miami 2026 recruiting class features two high-profile, 4-star tight ends:
Gavin Mueller and Israel Briggs. Ranked as one of the top TE hauls in the country, this duo provides a mix of receiving athleticism and size, furthering Miami’s "Tight End U" reputation under coach Mario Cristobal

It's not OP's fault, it's the staff/whoever @DMoney's insider is fault for selling us a bill of false goods

Yea good questions. Even without Lucas though Mendoza really only got going in the 2nd half when he was back. As for the almost pick-6 I don't think he had the best angle to actually pick it off. JMO.
He got going in the second half because OJ left the game with 6 minutes left in the third quarter. Now we no longer can leave the boundary DB with their best WR, forcing their hands to throw at OJ. If I was the coach, I would've made him play through the injury if he could play at 80 percent. I know it seems selfish, but the national championship is on the line.
