Not that I was great friends with him, but Bob Keuchenberg once told me that the toughest guy he ever had to block was Joe Klecko. Threw me for a loop as I was expecting to hear Joe Greene, Alan Page, Merlin Olsen, Randy White, Bruce Smith, LeeRoy Selmon or someone else like that. When I shared my reaction, he doubled down and said Klecko was by far the best.
