its amazing how overthought football has become, i mean you have to really go out of your way to get shut out by LA Tech... i really think its a product of analytics types getting over paid and over complicating the process, football is a physical game, line up and win

True. They say it and then talk about players buying into their system. I think Golden talked that stuff then insisted on playing his psu slow white boy defense with our players who he fattened up to look the part. Great coaches actually do what this guy said. Shula and Ansparger created the 53 defense, latter called the 3-4, because Bob Matheson was to small for DE and to big for OLB. Shula would run the ball 15 times in a row with Zonk, Kiick and Merc which included getting the right linemen for it, but converted to pass happy fool when Dan showed up and again changing the linemen type to fit.

If you can get the people to fit your system then fine, stick with it but stop making believe your system fits everyone.

He killed the interview. Way better then Diaz.....seems like he understands football and doesn't have an ego. What stood out was exactly that clip....I was like ok he knows u don't play a fat kid at wr because of your "scheme"
