His first season the team went 8-5 with the Flutie fiasco. So 5 losses his first year and just 4 his next 4 years. Getting down after such a hard fought game as we digest the event and analyze the coaching, in my opinion we are going to JJ type performances. I love the coaches reaction to the performance and the assessment they have presented. THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT LOSING. They know the schemes and preparation was right for the gator and we beat ourselves which I am sure will be fixed. I know it is only one game but I love what I saw, love what is being presented that I missed by CIS folks in the know and have high expectations for this team. The criticism of Tate is absurd, everyone thought he would enter the portal, instead he loves it here and ASKED to have a shot at WR or anything else he can contribute to winning. In listening to coach Manny they look at his talents and will utilize him to the maximum and not just as WR. I am certain we will see some spectacular plays from him and from the wealth of talent I saw Saturday night from our team. IT'S GREAT TO BE.....

By the way, this is Jarren a true Cane responding to comments by Enos:

"““He was right,” Williams said of Enos’ constructive criticism. “The quarterback is judged on how many games you win or lose. We came up short and I had a lot of mistakes in the game…He is a perfectionist and if your performance is anything short of that, he is going to let you know. He expects perfection and we rep it every day. I love that because I feel like it is going to make me better in the long run. It is tough, but it is only going to make me better.”

I'd bet if we had won this game Enos would have the same critique, unlike Mullen acting as if the gator won a championship.
