He's been likened to both Andre Johnson and Ed Reed. Rising Stars has Jeffrey Oneal Jr as the #1 SFL recruit in the 29 cycle. so its appropriate that Jeffrey Oneal Jr is the first recruit using the 29 prefix.

Although I can't find the offer on his timeline, 247 says Tucker and the Canes were the first to offer on Jan 18, 2025. Tucker and the Canes offered him nearly two years ago as a sixth grader and the Canes were his initial offer. He's had a flood of offers from the likes of UGA, TAMU, Auburn etc. in the last couple of days.
