Holland stopped by UM for a day with Jacksonville Trinity Christian teammate Kevin Toliver before their 7-on-7 team participated in a tournament over the weekend.
-Says “It was a great, I had a good time talking with all of the coaches,” “I talked to coach (Al) Golden, he’s a pretty good guy and coach (Micheal) Barrow we went to the board and drew up a couple defensive schemes that I would fit in.”
-It was Holland’s third unofficial visit to UM, which was different than the other two.
-Says “I just got to get one-on-one with the coaches and really get on the board,”
-The staff believes that with Holland’s ability, he could play multiple spots in the defense.
-Says “They were saying that I could really play any of the four linebackers and just ball out down there,”
-Holland said he will also likely visit Florida or Florida State this spring.
-The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder is ranked as the third-best outside linebacker in the country by 247Composite making him a five-star prospect.
-He has numerous offers and in January, he listed Florida, Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, Ohio State, and UCLA as his top six schools.
-Holland played on both sides of the ball in the tournament and liked playing receiver although he’s projected by most to play defense at the next level.
-Says “It’s pretty fun to just showcase my athleticism with things like that,”
