The date of Butch's most recent big win.

In addition to bringing Butch back, let's bring back Chud as OC and Randy as DC. Or Coker as OC and Schiano as DC. Bring them all back.

There's room for Erickson, Jimmy, and Howard too.

1 10+ win season.

15-17 in ACC games.

I'm *********ing already at the thought of all this.

Was he not robbed in 2000? IDGAF about Washington. Was it not his teams that went to the following back to back title games? Yeah, that's right. Nice try though.
 
I think recent runs of instant success like Urban, Saban and Herman are making some think it doesn't take a few years to get a program going. UNC sucked before he got there and it looked like he was primed for his big season before the suspensions.

You may be able to doubt Butch on his age now, but not sure how anyone can pound their chest about how dominate Miami was around 2000 and not say Butch was an elite coach

I want National Championships or at least for Miami to participate in them or be in the 4 team playoff year in year out. I don't believe Butch can do that.

You are one voice and as many threads you start and as loud as you can be you are only once voice. The majority of fans asking for Butch to come back and there is a good chance Miami will listen. Even Blake James said it, unless you live under a rock, you can hear what the majority of the fans want.

Does anybody think Butch was less of a coach than Clappy? So if Butch stays he likely wins the next two championships. Would we be turning down a guy with two rings that still has a hunger to do it?
 
Look, it's fair to have doubts about Butch, or any other coach. Despite what people think, there's no such thing as a sure-fire hire. Who knows, Saban could completely suck it here(doubtful, but possible). But lets cut the crap. Nobody knows how good any coach will be here, stop pretending that your favorite stat gives you the god sight to know the future. All we have are some stats and some guesses. Support whoever the **** you want, but stop pretending like you know some **** that the rest of us are too stupid to get.
