The Canes were big time underdogs to Nebraska which was called the team of the
century with 7 All Americans. In short, Bernie Kosar and Eddie Brown took it
to the Huskers. Strange things can happen.

Everyone I hear (other than die hard Cane fans) is calling for an ND victory.
After all they rush for 400 and 500 yds a game.

We owe the NDers big time. I know it's not going to be the game where
Testeverdi beat em 58 - 7, but something near that score would make me
happy and stop drinking (for awhile.)

I was at the game. Sat right behind Irving Fryar's mom on the sideline right by where Nebraska went for 2. That Nebraska team was considered far better than us at the time and this Notre Dame team isn't close to that.

We gonna kick dat Irish ***.

People were upset Nebraska wasn't playing someone better than Miami in the Orange Bowl.
