What is the opinion of Coley as an OC? I've seen considerable improvement since he started here but his lack of adjustments (which could be contributed to Golden) leaves something to be desired. I ask because I would not be at all surprised if a SEC team(s) makes a run at him when the season ends.

If Coley leaves, we lose a lot of our offensive recruits. Recruits love Coley, that's why we do so well on the offensive side of the ball when it comes to recruiting.

I've been very critical of him but he is improving. That first half vs FSU was perfectly called, literally. It was a perfect example of a coach knowing what his opponent was going to do and counter punching off of that. He was a step ahead of them every time and that's not something he's shown before imo. I think he has a good eye for talent. He found Kaaya and Lawson and Allison look legit, as do the other offensive players we have locked up. He's come a long way since he got here, Im actually looking forward to seeing if he continues to improve like he has.

Agreed.

Need to keep him, seen improvement in the O and in Kayaa's development as QB. Last thing this guy needs is different OCs while his time at the U.

I like him. Hypothetically, if we did hire a new coach i would want him to retain coley.

1000% in agreement if a new head coached was hired he needs to leave the Offense alone, could win immediately with Coley and Kayaa

I think he's gone. Too much blame wrongly attributed to him last year and this. Golden's an ******* who throws players and his OC under the bus PUBLICLY yet has NEVER criticized his fcukboi. Do that too long, people don't want to work/play for you. Golden stays, this team falls apart. Quickly.

Coley embodies the state of the Program. I guess the offense is OK, some may even call it good(like going 9-4), but it should be ridiculous.

Everyone on this staff gets a pink slip except Ice.

After last season I beleieved he was way in over his head. I thought the same thing after Louisville but he's improved so much as a play caller. Theres no perfect OC. At times, even the best look like morons. Coley shows the ability to ADJUST, which is why he should just keep getting better and better.

Like D$ talked about before. He can identify and land QBs. Thats job one for an OC and he looks to be improving as a play caller.

I think he's gotten way better and wouldn't be surprised to see a team try and poach him after the season.

Great recruiter, and I think he's growing and improving as an OC. He's a young coach, and found a **** of a gem in Kaaya. If he keeps developing him, Coley has a bright future. I think as Kaaya has become more comfortable, Coley has gotten better at mixing things up and calling decent games.

He still is struggling with making adjustments, but that's part of being a young OC still learning, and also part of having a true Frosh QB who you can only expect to know and do so much.

Wouldnt mind him as Golden's replacement. Although 3rd or 4th down the list he'll be a cheap replacement.
