Jacob Eason Transfer

i think more people need to start discussing this. Fromm's locked up the starting gig at UGA and they have another five star recruit in Justin Fields arriving next year. Eason's got to transfer. It would make perfect sense for him to transfer to the coach that recruited him.

I would take him in a heartbeat, assuming Smart will let him transfer here and play immediately. Absolute no-brainer.
 
CMR clearly has a vision for what his QB mill is going to look like. Don't think Eason fits in there.

Since I live in Georgia I saw several UGA games with Eason at the helm. Although he does have a strong arm in general he didn't impress me to be very durable. He has a slightly slim frame which leaves him suspect to how much pounding he can take over the course of the season.

If he does transfer out I would suspect he goes back home to the Pacific NW. Might be a great pick up for Mike Leach.
 
doesnt really fit the mold of qb CMR is looking for at miami, hes going towards more mobile qbs

My thoughts exactly. He would have to sit out a year anyway. So my guess is he transfers to Washington and takes over after Brownings senior season.

lol smart doesn't have a say in post-transfer eligibility. unless he can have him magically graduate between now and may, he's going to have to sit a year regardless of where he goes (unless he decides to juco).

Everyone crowning Nkosi before he takes a snap. If Eason is better than Nkosi why the fvck would we not take him....clowns.
 
You take as many talented QBs as possible. Difference between a good and great team is the QB.

after eason transfers, uga is going to be screwed. they have to get another lower level qb. if fields sticks with football, i bet he flips. dude aint gonna play for a few years at ugh and he wants to play early. but if he doesn't sign early and plays baseball in the spring, there is a good chance he gets drafted for MLB and might even forgo football altogether

Slow feet & inaccurate. Was playing like garbage before He got hurt vs ASU, there's a reason He never got His job back from Fromm.

Maybe because we are giving priority to the players that chose to come to Miami versus those that are transferring to us because they lost their job at their 1st choice.

By the time Eason is even able to take a snap Perry will be a RS Sophomore and Williams will be a RS Freshman/Sophomore. And either could have a season under their belt taking snaps.

He would have to sit a year. I'm good with Perry and Williams battling one another the next few years and going after another stud in 2019.
