To me, it needs to be a guy who has an understanding of this area, or a guy who has shown the ability to be great X's & O's.
I'd love to take a look at Chad Morris, whose schemes have beaten two SEC teams in bowl games, and is seen as an innovator who kids want to play for. He's also an energetic, fun guy. Clemson has recruited S Fla quite a bit, so he has a connection to the area also.
Curtis Johnson is a guy I'd talk to. His teams are always prepared and he knows the area.
Dino Babers probably wasn't ready for here, but he's a guy I loved as well.
We cite all these statistics for Golden, but Schiano seems like the same type guy to me. Make a team good, but never get it over the hump to being great.
Chud is a complete jerk who lacks accountability. Those types tend to eventually wear out their welcome (I recognize that a huge outlier in Nick Saban hurts my case).
No matter who the hire is, I just want to get back to being an aggressive team on defense again who has fire and energy in their play.
