That accept mediocrity and will defend Richt to the end despite the fact he is corching this program into the ground this season.

reading this guys tweets is simply infuriating he has come up with every excuse in the book for why things havent worked offensively this season. The fact this guy has any kind of voice for our fan base is insane and anyone who is a real canes fan should let him know his opinion does not represent what the competent educated fans in this fan base have observed this season and especially the last two games.

some of my personal favorites include

"Hey, a rational thought. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We do have 2 talented TE, but they are Frosh. Unfortunately no AR who was a DUDE. Changes a lot. The other WR are young. Most Frosh. Walton in NFL. Kaaya would make a HUGE difference. And OL - the future is being RS. As should be."

"Development of OL is occcuring - you just can’t see it. It’s called Campbell, and Reed RS. As good as Scaife is, you see what happens when have to rely on Frosh. Hillery developing. And it’s called recruiting. 3-4 more guys coming."

"By my count, 7 ranked teams lost on the road to unranked teams yesterday. It happens. Everywhere."

"This is why it’s easy to criticize in this sport as a fan - this play, this play right here, is NOT Malik’s fault. None whatsoever. How do I Know? As the sideline reporter I heard the OL cost say his RT turned them guy free. So be careful."

"No, the narrrative is that we keep living in the past. That’s the lens and it’s misguided. We’re Miami. We’re The U. That’s not gonna cut it. And then you demand change. Maybe its gonna just take time. To get the roster more talented, more balanced, more experienced and deeper."

This guy is a half brain who has no idea what he is talking about Mark Richt = Al golden 2.0 and unless changes are made to this coaching staff (firing searles and hiring a competent OC) we will be stuck in neutral and not live up to the potential that we have as a program.

These are the fans that wanted to give golden "time to get his guys" and he just needed another season to get things going when things obviously where in the ******* from day one with that guy.

They're morons. The majority of them are stupid as **** and don't know the first thing about football. They fall in love with a coach or have some sort of bias/ties to the administration. You root for the program and what's best for the program...period. Once it becomes obvious a coach is not in the best interest of the program, you cut ties. Plain and simple.

He and Don Bailey work for Miami, I don't get why you dumbasses get all upset about this. Listen to a podcast that is run by a guy that works for UM and then decide to be outraged.

I don't get why you dumbasses can't understand that there's a way to do your job, be on the payroll, but BE A LITTLE MORE ******* OBJECTIVE.

When Steve Walsh worked for QAM, he called a spade a spade. It can be done. DBJ is so over the top and ridiculous that he can't even be taken seriously and his opinion can't even be considered in any logical debate.

You might be right. I know he went into coaching but wasn't sure where.

He was one of the best radio guys covering the Canes that WQAM ever had. That was the ONLY time during the last 20 years I consistently tuned into the station before and after games.

Josh’s Podcast are extremely enjoyable, he has really good Canes guests and gets more into there life and time as Canes. I Love It

Josh Darrow actually works for Don Bailey Carpeting, so Don is his boss and Miami represents both. Josh knows the coaches and players on a personal level so of course he’s going to defend the. Just like DBJ. Looking for raw info don’t follow those guys, but looking for a solid Canes PodCast follow 5 Rings

He works for the radio broadcast, right? If so, he works for the school, and would absolutely lose his job if he said anything else.

He is a paid propagandist. No need to be angry, just understand his job is to make the program look good.
 
To be fair to DBJ, even he hates Malek. Heard him talk about him before the LSU game and he was still upset at him for the Pitt game but more importantly his comments after how wasn’t ready for that game. He wouldn’t even refer to him by name and said he would never play for him again after that fiasco. But other that, as others have said they work for the University and are going to toe the company line.

Now to Darrow’s comments, this is exactly why you need a new Coach or at the very least new OC, OL and QB coach. Every team has injuries or weak units on their team due to inexperience but good coaches game plan around it. They’re not stubborn and say we are going to run the same six plays and they will work if we just execute them. Look at what BC did. They didn’t say we are going to drop back our QB and send our receivers long and hope our OL can hold the dominant pass rush for 6 seconds. No, they ran 2 tricks plays to open up the field and establish the run. They identified our strengths while acknowledging their weaknesses and game planned for it.

We have a weak OL who rarely gets any push at the point of attack but we insist on running the ball inside like we have Baga’s OL. We never run any motion. We have a redshirt freshman QB making his first road start and we never call short passes or screens to get him in the rhythm of the game. Everyone always talks about how we need a dominant OL to get back to NC and I don’t disagree. However what most people don’t realize is out of our 5 rings, only one team had a dominant OL, the 2001 squad. All the others had good OL’s that were small and quick, with maybe one dominant player on the line. OC would game plan to capitalize on their strengths and not put them at a disadvantage. These azzholes should spend all their time recruiting because they certainly don’t spend anytime on game planning. It’s always the same ****.
