very very good. excellent recommendation. i have been going there since it opened. a client of mine who is Sicilian and owns Italian restaurants in the area swears this is the best Italian restaurant in Miami.

also consider Prime Italian (south beach) and Carbone (south beach)

Don’t go there. Carbone way better if you want fancy Italian.

Carbone's on the beach is difficult to get in, you may want to consider Carbone Vino in Coconut Grove. It is very very good and a lot easier to obtain a reservation.

Second for Prima Pasta, its north beach so you get away from a lot of the tourist traps on SOBE but amazing food, good people run it, def more of a local spot, walking by it looks nothing special, interior is pretty cool though.
