It got shakey but we were clearly the better team.

Yeah we went Ultra ******* conservative the ENTIRE 4th quarter.

I didn't like how we looked running it with in 12 personnel. Why can't we just spread teams out and force them to pick. I trust our OLine vs any DLine in the country. If we force them to spread out they can choose to crowd box and let beck pick them apart or allow us to run it.

But like I said we would dominate in trenches, and I feel like we kinda did.

I think we are going to have the best OL+DL combo in the country. period.

We were better in every phase...that's a seriously overrated Domer team that continues to play baby poo schedules

We should have put them away earlier and won handily. Not quite sure how we got to that point.

Losing lyle really hurt. Turned us into a phone booth offense.

Lack of a WR1 was hurting us. I like all our guys but CJD needs to be that dude. Expecting too much out of trader and Moore even though those are talented dudes.

Brown is a workhorse. Our OL/DL will take us far.

There are only a few coaches in history who truly have it all. But at the end of the day, you have to applaud Mario for the roster he has built. Maybe it'll be enough to win something meaningful, maybe not. But it's 100% a step forward for the program.

Yes, we were the better team, but we need to clean up some things, namely running QBs, & the flats.

Also, we just spent a pretty penny on Beck, let him play. We called a very conservative game, & truthfully…CJ Daniel’s miraculous Palm of God catch saved an int.

This was Carr’s 1st start, & he looked way too comfortable a lot in the 2nd half. In the obvious passing situations to end the game, we turned up the heat. I like what I saw in some areas, & then in others I’m just like: we were lucky.

All in all, I’ll sleep easy tonight. Moving fwd, we gotta trust Beck more. We allowed ND to stay in this game & to be brutally honest, that’s a Mario calling card.

Congrats to you guys. The difference was your o line. Our o line was hot trash. Our coordinators were the difference. OC handcuffed Carr too long. ND just shot themselves in the foot. Gotta get more carries for Love and Price and gotta quit just running bubble screens. ND straight shut them down when they manned up. This zone crap the DC brings has to go. Miami o line and Beck too good to sit in zone. Absolutely crazy catch by Daniel's. Props to him. 9 times out of 10 that is a pick six. The other crazy bounce was that pick going off the heel of a defender and up in the air. 17 point potential swing on those two plays. Despite the garbage performance by ND, somehow they still had a shot at the end. Miami's o line deserves credit. They were way better than ours. Sure hope to see you guys again this year.
