Tough loss, didn't see that one coming. But man, how could you not be mentally ready to play? It's easy to point out one or two guys, but there were breakdowns in all phases of the game. Are there any real leaders in the locker room who are going to get in other guy's faces and hold them accountable? I thought that winning some of those close games would have produced a mental toughness, but it didn't. I'm not one to look for moral victories in losses, but hopefully this will be a wake up call that this team needed.

This is not a coaching problem. The players need to solve this in the locker room. The real leaders need to step up and pull this team together, now is not the time to start pointing fingers. I believe there is enough talent to get it done, but mentally are there enough savages to pull the weak ones along. I'm not sure at this point.

The problem was NOT MENTAL, it was PHYSICAL. The team had NO gas left in the tank. 11 or 12 weeks in a row is impossible with our depth. They were just freaking tired.... Unfortunately, we get NO break again before Clemson.

Saturday will tell us a lot about the mental makeup of the team and staff. Canefam is right, not having a week off since our season started has to be taking its toll. Plenty of blame to go around for yesterdays loss and it has all been discussed ad nauseam, but playing 11 weeks in a row can't be overlooked heading into the ACCCG.

If they're able to suck it up and get by Clemson, we have a month to recover and prepare for the playoffs. If they tank like yesterday, we have a month to sit around and wonder what could have been.

Dude stfu the only softy on here is you starting a ghey *** thread like this. Stop your moping yes they had a let down game, they still went 10-1 in the regular season and will be well prepared to play in the ACC ship next week. It s a young team and they play up and down to their competition clearly. Next week will be up. One L and you turn into a massive panic pu*** along with half the fan base.

Im no more worried about Clemson than i was 2 days ago. This is a team that plays down to their competition and yesterday it caught up with them

They should not have a performance like they did yesterday, but is it really that hard to figure out why they were flat?

Let's see, overlooked a team they were better than on paper, playing on the road the day after a major holiday, noon game time, etc. These are just excuses, but I can see how a team a bit full of themselves could do this.

why don't you get your soft keyboard a$$ out on the practice field for 12 weeks straight and see how you are.. can only hope one of these softies get a chance to meet you some where there isnt a keyboard to hide behind,,

Sure if Rosier can learn to remember the goal is to hit the open wide receivers somewhere around their hands we cruise

If they're going to have a let down game then let it be against Pitt and not Clemson. They better show up Saturday.

I wouldn't call this team soft...

All the BS with Irma, losing an NFL level starting RB, no break all season, beat FSU in Doak....theses ****ers are tough!

Yesterday's loss was a mental hiccup with everyone on the team. It was bound to happen.

guys have been playing 10 weeks in a row with no rest, came in on a short week on a day after a holiday against a team with nothing to lose and still had a chance to win if not for erratic QB play we had guys running wide open all day. they're not soft though by any means

Exactly what those cheesy gambling infomercial guys said about Miami. Was listening to them today and one guy, who's an avid ND fan said Clemson should be very worried about a Miami team w a bigger chip on the shoulder.

Miami better recover and get their ' collective chit ' together. Otherwise, that game will be UGLY, UGLY, UGLY! Ouch. Because mighty Clemson's defense, as everyone knows, will be the BEST DEFENSE Miami faces this season! Yikes.

They probably got caught up in all the MEDIA LOVE they received and all that. hUh.
