Reading Brian Dohn’s article about Alinen, Dohn mentioned how he’s attracted by the fact that Mirobal tends to stay at schools for a long time. It reminded me of an interview Mario did where he mentioned the average assistant stays less that two years. They must be selling that Mirobal will be here as long as Mario is here which must be attractive to a recruit to know your position coach will be with you.

It’s a great selling point. Mirabal can guarantee a player he’ll develop him from beginning to end. Other coaches can promise it but it’s just talk whereas mirabal has the track record and he has the backup to make that claim.
