From Manny’s article today in The Athletic:

Best surprise
What Enos has managed to do with Williams and backup quarterback N’Kosi Perry. Most have forgotten how the Hurricanes ranked 113th in passing yards, 118th in completion percentage and 115th in quarterback rating a year ago. Between Williams and Perry, Miami has jumped to 19th in passing yards, 21st in completion percentage and 27th in quarterback rating. That’s a rather large leap, and it justifies every penny Miami spent to bring Enos over from Alabama to develop the QBs and run the offense.

Like I've said this team found a way to lose each game. There isn't one thing to blame among the three. Punt muffs, missed field goals, defense collapsing in key moments, playing an injured QB. This is what you get with inconsistent recruiting and a new coaching staff.

This is why even great coaches usually have bad first years. It takes time to work out the kinks

Except for the massive jump in sacks, pressures, penalties, and lack of red zone scoring.
Well, if you are the Best F1 Driver and switch teams but was given a Yugo to drive, you can see how that would be a problem. Enos was given a Yugo type OL to start. Let's give it some time for the Yugo to get some upgrades, then maybe we can do better.

Somebody ought to let Manny know that we are averaging 20.8 ppg against FBS teams so passing stats don't justify ****
