It is similar in scope to the college admission game. Now with technology, kids apply to 10 schools instead of t he three I did. Hence, when a school s accepts it "normal" cohort, bigger than years ago because applicants are everywhere, they b rag about the low percentage they accept. For Nebraska, they can only accept 5% of their offers.

Iraqi troops once surrendered to our Apaches which were out of ammo returning from a sortie. So yeah, sometimes it's just the sight of the weapon that will strike the ultimate fear in your adversary.

Anyone know the average scores needed for Stanford these days? Seems to be getting tighter every year.

Just offer every top 300 kid and then set your board. Kids get too hung up on late offers so just offer them all and recruit the kids you actually want. 75% of offers are uncommittable anyway.
