Will pay UVA $500K tonot play them in 2027 & 2028. Instead, Indiana will play Kennesaw State and Austin Peay for those games.

This follows Indiana canceling their series in 2024 & 2025 with Louisville. They replaced their game with Louisville with a matchup vs. Kennesaw state, too

So much for quality OOC opponents....

Expect more of the same.

Big 10 will go to 9 or 10 games, plus an OOC game with the SEC.

Do you see us getting any big games down the road after the South Carolina auburn games are done ? I know we have 1 with Utah

They (Indiana) are not canceling acc games out of "fear" it's just math. 4 home games instead of 2. No benefit to going on the road or playing OOC p5 opponents. Unnecessary travel and expenses.

Not with Big 10/SEC.

That's why the "every two years" deal with Notre Dame helps.

We won't play The Gator again until we are P2.

WELCOME BACK, UCF!!!

I'd also expect the ACC to go to 9 or 10 games soon (as if that will fix anything).

This isn't about being afraid to play Virginia. This is about gearng up for more conference games as well as shutting out the ACC from the B1G-$EC Cabal. This is so BigTen.
Yup. And then the Big 10 and SEC and Fox and ESPN can pull more of their “eye test” crap and argue about who’s really more deserving and before you know it, you’ve got a playoff of 6 SEC teams, 6 Big 10 teams, ND, and the 1 Gof5 qualifier (or whatever they’re called now).

The most important thing for the University of Miami football program is to get out of the ACC and into the SEC or Big 10.

Yep. You have to think about it from a big business standpoint. Really goes for the guy you were replying to not you.

This is Coke and Dr. pepper (was originally going to use Pepsi but was shocked to learn they slipped to fourth place) colluding to eliminate Sprite and Pepsi. That’s an extra 15% of market share for Coke and Dr. pepper to go after…. This is billions of dollars extra.

So yeah I don’t blame them for trying to destroy the other conferences. ESPN has created this monster.

Once the lesser conferences are destroyed, they’ll be able to pick the desired teams for pennies on the dollar in order to demand more from espn and Fox.
