In years past, we lose last night.

Took a “controversial” Hail Mary call for us to pull out a win last night. But, how many times in recent years have we seen our Canes fold up like a wet towel and lose a game like last night?

Mario has mentioned time and again this year that this team is resilient. It sure looked that way last night. Countless mistakes on both sides of the ball but the guys kept fighting. The great plays and the boneheaded mistakes have been re-hashed over and over since the end of last nights game.

“Ultimately” (a favorite of Dawson) this team remained calm and confident and came back in a big way to get the “dub” last night. At this point, I’m not sure how this game will affect the rest of the season but it was **** sure great to be on the winning side last night.

The team fought their assess off and the coaches did a good job not letting the kids dwell on the bad plays - of which there were many. Usually you don't win when you lose the turnover battle 3-1 and turn it over twice in the red zone. We did.
