Fau just landed a 16 million dollar pledge that will be used directly for football facilities including a whole field INDOOR practice facility. With all our bull**** I'm beginning to feel like a dinosaur and I'm questioning if we will ever be back. Don't forget fau brand new ONCAMPUS stadium.

See those doners specifically said to use it for the football, when ours just say heres the money do what you wish with it

Actually the pledge came from their biggest donor who had never given money to athletics. Their AD sold him on football team is necessary for the uversity to grow. THEY Get it

Well we did just recently built the schwartz center and nee fields so they are talking to donors about that

**** the indoor facility bull****. This is Miami... we do two a days in August in the sweltering heat and pouring rain. At least we did before Al Golden pussified practice.

There's no better way to get ready for the football season than to train in the afternoon in South Florida.

FAU cares more about football than Miami now?

Where the **** do u wanna build a stadium on the gables campus and also sell it to gables so they can pass it (it'll get shut down by the city real quick)

I'm no fool. I realize a stadium on campus can never happen. Funny thing fau is in the city of boca raton which would never have allowed a stadium in town but because they are a state school they can build whatever they want with no city permits. My comment was based on the overall dedication to the program which we evidently lack. I'm not sure the u would pay 100 million for a stadium anyway, they would just build another medical center..

They have upgraded facilities recently. Btw why do we need a stadium when they could just play on the IM fields next year and still won't fill it up w an audience to watch em

Btw miami would need a stadium much larger than what fau just built. Would a 50k seat stadium ever get approved at fau?
