In a 3 day span PSU lands 3 good DT commits Why can't Miami? PSU got Dwumfour first then, then next came Colon, and now Jordan gave it to PSU.

2016 DT/SDE Michael Dwumfour (he ran a 4.37 shuttle at 290lbs), 2016 DT Christian Colon, and 2016 DT Ellison Jordan. Colon was at the same Charlotte camp as Miami recruit Jabari Ellis and Ellis was noticeably better. But the other two are interesting pick ups.

Also with 3 DT commits on board an PSU only looking to take 4 in the 2016 class, that leaves room for 1 highly rated DT I am assuming will be 2016 SDE/DT Karamo Dioubate. I was hoping Dioubate would be a Miami lean by now but with PSU now being able to focus all their attention on the Philly prospect, I am thinking it will be a tough haul to pull him out Pennsylvania away from the home team.

So how is it then that Miami can't close on some quality DT's when PSU is picking them up like mixed tapes at a 3 for 1 sidewalk sale in front of the barbershop.

Any decent DT's in the state this year? 4 or 5 stars?

As in which state? Are you talking about Florida? If so then nope, the highest rated one that has even remote interest in Miami is 2016 DT Keyshon Camp, 2016 4* Cedric Wood has been committed to FSU for 2 years now so that sailed way back. Camp I feel is overrated.

Now the states of Georgia and Louisiana are absolutely LOADED with Top tier DT's, especially Georgia which has 9 of the nations top 50 DT's. Louisiana has 4 of the Top 20 DT's in the nation. Florida has 5 of the nations top 50 (but the Florida's player rank between 20 - 50). I would love to see Miami pull two DT's out of Georgia for the 2016 class, but that could be a tall order.

So this year Miami needs to leave the state to find top tier players not to mention players that have the natural size (6'3"+ and 295lbs +) to play in the 3-4 scheme Al Golden employes.

Virginia Tech just offered Jarrod Hewitt. They seem to always find underrated DLs in Florida. Maybe UM should give him a look..

Penn ST also leads for JC DT Chavis who miami is also after.Miami under Golden and Dnofrio is the aids virus to DTs.

Bruh... you black or mixed with Hispanic. ... u just brought back memories with the 3 for 1 mixtape at the barber shop lol

It's obvious why DT's don't come here.... majority flat out said it.... but the main person who could change everything wouldn't change his scheme yrs 1-4... what makes them think year 5 is going to be any different. Fml

**** Hewitt 112 tackles 74 sólo as a DT.... maaaaaaaaaan who does Venice play again? Like sarasota port St lucie punta gorda ft myers school district or what?

Need to get Aaron Thompson on Board... wants yo be a Cane, and he doesn't need to play right away

We can't get great DT's cause our scheme does not cater to big-time DT's. Those type kids want to play in schemes that allows them to penetrate upfield to make plays, not block ol so the lb's make all the tackles. Everybody, except our fearless leader and his butt boy DC, seems to know this. This scheme sucks, and our corches swallow!
