If you are in Cheyenne, WY and want to hit a local bar

Have you ever been to Scotty's? It was just a shack with some picnic tables next to the water. When you are a broke-a$$ college student, it's awesome. Hit that place MANY times.

Monty's was better if you had more money in your pocket.
Wasn't there a bar on the water there called Captain ****'s way back in the day?

No mention of Marino’s? That place was poppin back in the day. Met Michael Jordan there.

Semper Canes!!!

Ha. Cool guy. Ryan and I played IM flag together when we were both in law school. It was frightening how far he could throw the ball with little to no effort. You forget how good and talented these guys are when they're in a setting with regular folk.
Dude was tough as nails at QB, Covington had better skills but Clement had heart

I always liked Ryan as a QB. A bit hot-headed, and came as the program was sanctioned and hitting a rough patch. Tough SOB, I vividly remember him gutting out a night game at WVU, playing with a separated non-throwing shoulder. Covington would started but suffered a collapsed lung in practice a few days before the game.

Canes won 10-7 when Tremain Mack blocked a punt in the last minute and Aaron Brooks scored the TD.

Also might be the game where a fan threw a garbage can over the rails as the team left the field, hitting Randy Shannon. I think he sued and won a nice settlement. Could be a different night game though.

Man, you're talking back in the 90s/early 00s. Marinos, Baja Beach Club, Señor Frogs, Howl at the Moon, Fat Tuesday, etc. Cocowalk was the mecca back in the day. Every place was slammed. Sad what it's (and the grove in general) become.
