If we had taken Trestman instead of Golden

We would be lighting up the scoreboard as he is the guru of guru's with QB's and started his coaching career at Miami. Why he wasn't hired over Golden makes no sense other than he isn't flashy enough.

If we took trestman instead of golden he woulda high tailed it back to the CFL after Shapiro broke.

I want a new coach too but we were lucky to have the guy during the cloud. Takes a special kind of used car salesman to sell a program that was getting the death penalty.
 
Not Mark Trestman - the guy who had ties to Miami, became a CFL legend, and is now a head coach in the NFL. That would have been a sh@@ty hire. I think we are sitting much better with Golden Al, who is 1-23 against teams with 5 or less losses.
 
trestman can coach circles around anyone on this staff offensively, i've watched bears football for years and its always been crap even the year they went to the super bowl and he made them a legit top 5 offense in one year. with that said the guy has all the charisma of a ham sandwich not sure how recruiting would have gone with him
 
Chudzinsky is a nice and realistic option if the opportunity arises. Not sure if the ships for Davis and Schiano have sailed.
