I see no reason why this team could not get to 10-12 wins this year. I have learned a long time ago not to get ahead of myself with this program so I understand the hypocrisy, but it looks like the O can be as good as they were 2 years ago and the D has made tremendous improvements. That is a winning combination. Am I setting myself up again or does anyone else have the same vibe? Either way, as of this second, I am excited.

yeah, our depth is still not good enough and attrition could lead to some struggles down the back half. we also frankly have no idea how this team is going to handle actually experiencing a little success for once. i'm optimistic, but i'm still taking it one game at a time.

Recalibration of expectations

All of the above. I said 7-5 before we started and I'm now thinking 8-4 with a shot at 9-3 if we get/stay healthy. The season is a grind for everybody and I still wouldn't be shocked to see us drop one we shouldn't.

That said I love what I saw last week and I hope we can stay consistent. Let's get to 3-0 with nobody else hurt and go from there!
