If this was ever to happen....

and I hope every player points to the crowd when they score to acknowledge us folk that go to the games. We like it!

I miss the OB but I feel like Hard Rock Stadium is a major selling point for this program. Not many college teams get to play in an NFL stadium that hosts multiple Super Bowls.

The only way I see us moving anywhere is if Coral Gables finally lets UM build a stadium on or next to campus and the chances of that ever happening are slim to none.

A lot of kids don't care about NFL stadiums or playing in NFL stadiums they like the atmosphere of College football, atmosphere college town that's why a lot of kids decided not to come to Miami they like that college atmosphere where the stadium is near the campus everything is there so you can have the best pro Stadium but lot of kids like that college football town atmosphere imo.

You'd never be able to recreate the mystique.

Hard Rock is a great venue. Its located where it can bring in the most fans from Dade to Palm Beach. It's truly an NFL caliber stadium. Instead of living in the past, let's build a new mystique by making people afraid to come here.

The city of Miami tears down the Marlins stadium, after the team has been moved due to lack of interest, and they rebuild an exact replica of the OB on site.
Then, we are back.
I do like Hard Rock, though.

:troll-dancing2::troll-dancing2:

Wouldn't even care about a replica. Just give us the ballpark as is. I'd love for that ******* franchise to relocate to some **** hole town.

Wouldn't happen unfortuntly unless the university front steering entire cost. Miami-Dade tax payers are not going to allow that to happen again to them

Not Happening.

Also why recreate the OB? I would make a stadium like Baylor's with some tweaks here and there.

The Baylor stadium is big, loud, and is a perfect capacity for this fan base (45k) compared to the Orange Bowl's (75k). I'll never understand why this fan base wants a new stadium of 70k when you know **** well, other then FSU, half of the seats would be empty on game day. Not a good look.

Give me a smaller stadium that looks 80% full most of the time that can get pretty **** loud over a stadium that big and loud as **** but half empty most of the time.

Any kid who wants "a traditional college atmosphere " isn't coming to UM anyway. Contrary to popular belief, the Orange Bowl wasn't on campus either. It was closer than HRS but let's not pretend students were walking there.

Sorry... not going to happen... and don't care either.
We have one of the best stadiums in CFB and you maroons want to go back to a tin can?
Please.... i was there at OB during the heydays.. most games it was empty...

.. . and you think any of current prima donna recruits will like a replacement tin can.
Enjoy the memories.... have no reason to go back to that dump...
