If you can ever get your hands on Stagg Sr, you are in for a treat. Barrel proof, around 128 and the aroma is intense like a vanilla, brown sugar candy. Let it air out in the glass for a couple minutes and game over. The flavor is like no other... I've had Pappy 15 and I'd still pick Stagg Sr. Definitely a sipper and pairs well with any Canes victory

I haven't had pappy yet, but I generally don't like wheated bourbons. Stagg Sr and the Eagle 17 are on my wishlist.
