I'm fine with it ASSUMING the intent is to give JW meaningful snaps throughout the game, regardless of score and situation. I understand the logic of not trotting a true freshman out first considering Williams hasn't taken a snap since September. With that said, if Rosier is out there to play the whole game, and Richt is trying to justify winning a meaningless bowl game versus building for the future then we are in a world of **** going into next year.
So you just want to throw a kid to the wolves and risk destroying his confidence? Perry was worked into the FIU game and look how that turned out. Of course, his confidence was then destroyed when he was yanked in the UVA game, but my point stands.

Will go perfect with Our 30 year old playbook...pure *** pocket passer. merry x mas and god bless the mighty Miami Hurricanes. I promise u all, we are going to be great again. chill, we are winners.
I agree with thisMalik shouldn't have been benched in the FIU game...not coming out of the Toledo game. Richt ****ed it up as usual. If Malik needed to be replaced, Williams should have been the guy. Perry is a walking "Getting Ready To **** Up" and should be dismissed from the team.
Jesus Christ. This is an insane post as it gets. Your post does not have a peg leg to stand on. “Throw a kid to the wolves?” He’s not a baby anymore, it’s sink or swim time. This is what he signed up for, give the young man some credit. Perry, whether yanked or not, does not have the “It” factor, proven by his cheap blunt smoke-filled cranium actions. Rosier neither benefits himself, the game, nor the future of the program if he starts. Even if JW is failing this game, keep Rosier on the sidelines, let JW figure this one out with hot coals under his feet. I have confidence the young man will succeed, but it starts here, win or lose. I remember Kosar being harassed by the gators/Charlie Pell first game that ‘ship year. The rest is legendary stuff. Seems like U fans have lost our collective balls with this Richt ****show, become panicky and pulling the fire alarm every time we anticipate a fire.So you just want to throw a kid to the wolves and risk destroying his confidence? You are overthinking this.Have them rotate series. **** give JW the entire second half regardless. It's a lot easier to sell a recruit and the fanbase on the future of the program as opposed to your scrub 5th year senior QB winning a middle tier bowl for you.
This, with one caveat: pick a **** starter and go with that. Hopefully it’s JW.Who starts 1st game next year in Orlando against the Gators?
There are 2 choices, that is what we need to be looking at.
Young players need to get meaningful playing time.
