Then the NCAA needs to trot their butts up to Ohio State and pick up our National Championship trophy.

And while they're at it, give us the victory in the 1988 game against Notre Dame, where the refs made a really bad call, clearly shown in replay, which would have allowed us to play in the National Championship game that year.

And if the SOB's want some more, WE GOT MORE.

Exactly....they don't want us to go into the vault of mishaps that screwed us out of titles...b/c we got plenty. ****, let's talk about the game this past weekend; Fact: Artie should've never been penalized for a P.I. His int was game over.

We get screwed more than any other team...now that we are the benefactors, everyone has a problem w/ it. ***** them.

And take away Colorado's half of the 1990 national title, and the 1985 World Series from Kansas City, and.....

The ACC's response to this controversy is doing a great disservice to the officials and the game of college football in general. Granted ACC refs suck worse than most, EVERY football game is full of missed or improper calls. It's part of the game and you just learn to live with it. The vast majority of calls both sides are questioning are judgement calls where human error (or prejudice) play a role. These guys spent over 10 minutes reviewing that play before making their call. And with the exception of the missed block in the back, everyone was a judgement call that could have gone either way.

I can understand Duke being upset. If the roles were reversed we'd be *****ing to. Only difference would be no outrage by anyone else. ACC needs to grow a pair or the NCAA does or the idea of reviewing and re-reviewing games to change outcomes will destroy the game. Lord knows we've been on the sort end of a lot of officiating over the years. Sort of feels good to catch a break for once.

The Duke call was incorrect, and Duke did NOT make a touchdown.

THE GAUNTLET was run back for a touchdown - called correctly or not.

Either UM won if Duke didn't get into the end zone, or UM won RUNNING THE GAUNTLET.

Either or.
