If Perry could mature, why not Jarren?

Prior to last year we called Perry everything but a child of god and then applauded him on his growth this season. Is it unreal to believe that Jarren could do the same? I can't ignore the games he had against UF, @UNC, @FSU, @Pitt, and Louisville. He had some awful games as well, but I for one am not in a hurry to see him go and think it says something about his maturity that he is staying despite all the criticism.

The fact that coaches are contacting other qb’s in the portal tells you all you need to know about Jarren Martell

No it doesn't. Manure DAss contacted transfer players from day one at UM? Yet we still have depth issues on the defense. Yet, he managed it for 4 years.

we're always looking to get better ... but this idea of let's get rid of everybody is stupid, the kids was a redshirt freshman that showed signs of talent, but lacked maturity ... is it hard pressed to believe he won't get better and mature next year

Both immature but in different ways. A lot of guys on this board have probably been the type of immature Kosi was. Jarren not so much. Dude is a loser and is soft. As much criticism as Kosi got no one ever called him soft or weak minded.

I don't want to take the time to see if Jarren can mature. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.

It's funny how kids that's in a great University and is fulfilling his dreams playing qb at that University is described as a loser. It's also very interesting when that loser was also named ACC newcomer of the week 3 times.

Hmmm.

Stop being an *****. Be better.

Obviously I meant within the context. I don't know the guy personally. I'm going off of what we know and what we can see just like you. He was a loser in high school and loser now. Sorry you're so **** sensitive. It's the truth. There's posts 100x worse than mine on this board. I've had someone tell me to kill myself. Lol. The things you guys decide to be mad about is hilarious.

The immaturity needs to be taken into context. Kosi had immaturity off the field and isn’t a kid that you question his toughness mentally and physically. Jarren on the other hand has committed the carnal sin of any sports team especially at a typical position of leadership, he quit on his teammates because he wasn’t getting exactly what he wanted. If he did it once, he will do it again. He put himself above the rest of the teammates.

Started this whole thread just to slurp Jarren. You didn't want a discussion. Lmaoooo
i started it bro and i'm not here to slurp anyone, but this idea of get rid of everyone and everything is crazy ... if we could have gotten the newman kid, i thought that was an obvious upgrade, but now i'm hard press to see any out there that I would prefer over a sophmore jarren in an offense that gives simple reads and take the pressure off the oline.

My bad I was mistaken. Thought it was the other guy.

Everybody will get a fresh start with the new coach. Jarren will get the opportunity to play in a system he is better suited to play in and to show his growth. I still think his upside is high. Deciding a red shirt sophomore can't get better is just wrong.

Lol go ask him why he can’t mature? We saw Kosi do it but if anything Jarren regressed. He’s not cheese, it’s something you have to want to do, personally.

There are thousands of QB's that don't need to "mature". Look at 99% of our previous QB's and how they approached the game. Look at the rest of the NCAA. There are always going to be a few that can't handle it, but those QB's are usually weeded out. Next man up...
